Delete your Catapultor account and data

You can delete everything we hold about you, at any time, without contacting

support and without giving a reason.

Option 1 — from your account

1. Sign in to Catapultor

2. Go to Settings → Account

3. Choose Delete account

4. Confirm

Deletion begins immediately. You will receive an email confirming it.

Option 2 — by email

If you cannot sign in, email privacy@catapultor.com from the address on the

account, with the subject "Delete my data".

We will verify you own the address, then delete the account. We action these

within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

Export your data first

Deletion is irreversible. Export before you delete if you want to keep

anything.

Go to Settings → Account → Export my data for a machine-readable archive of

your account, brand record, submitted articles, generated assets and activity

history.

Data export is a built product feature, not a promise — it is the one genuine

obligation we consider ourselves to have to you.

What gets deleted

Within 30 days of your request we permanently delete:

• Your account and email address
• Your brand record — voice, audience, colours, fonts, handles
• Every article URL you submitted and the extracted content
• Every generated asset, image and caption
• Your activity history
• All stored access tokens for connected accounts
• Any phone number held for SMS reminders

What we keep, and why

Only two narrow categories:

• Financial records — invoices and transaction records, where tax and

accounting law requires us to retain them. These contain billing details, not

your content.

• Aggregate, anonymised statistics — counts that cannot be linked back to you

or any individual, used to understand product usage.

Nothing in either category can identify you or reproduce your content.

Backups are on a rolling schedule and are overwritten within 90 days. Your data

may persist in an encrypted backup until then, and is not restored to live

systems.

Disconnecting a social account without deleting your Catapultor account

If you only want to revoke our read access, you do not need to delete anything.

From Catapultor: Settings → Connections → Disconnect. Our access ends

immediately and stored tokens are deleted.

From Meta: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Catapultor →

Remove.

From Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions

→ Catapultor → Remove access.

Revoking from the platform's own settings takes effect immediately and requires

nothing from us.

Remember that Catapultor's connections are read-only — we have never held

permission to post, message or advertise from your accounts.

If Catapultor shuts down

Our terms commit us to at least 30 days' written notice and a full data export

before any shutdown. Data is deleted after that window.
